I wear so many hats in my career that I don’t share about my groundwork in Indian classical dance nearly as much as I shouldβ€”but it’s at the heart of everything I do! ❀️🌟

✈️ Two years ago, I was literally flying through my role as a dance choreographer and movement director for Ri Ri’s Dance Academy’s children’s touring theatre production, “The Dancing Elephant.” 🐘✨ It was an incredible project where every step of the choreography was carefully crafted to bring the emotion of the story to life πŸŽπŸ’– and create a lasting connection with the audience. πŸŽΆπŸ‘£

With my extensive experience, ranging from teaching choreography for British Soap Operas, such as channel 4’s “Hollyoaks” πŸ“Ί, leading on national theatre tours 🎭🎫, and creating impactful outdoor arts with audiences in their thousands πŸŒπŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦, I’ve realised one truth: the art of choreography varies so much between live audiences, television, and theatre. It’s not just about the movesβ€”it’s about the storyline and the emotions those movements convey. πŸŒˆπŸ“– Every performance aims to leave an indelible mark on the audience, evoking reactions and sparking imagination. ✨🀯

Each platform demands its own unique approachβ€”challenging, but oh-so-rewarding and my Indian dance groundwork is an elementally grateful for!πŸ’ƒπŸŽπŸ’ͺ

Lots of love,
