I am thrilled to share that in December 2019, I received an Alumni Achievement Award from The University of Salford. These prestigious awards are presented to former students who have achieved distinction in their profession, provided exemplary service to the University or the wider community, and achieved greatness in the arts, charities, or business sectors.

A Moment of Pride
As the Artistic Director of Ri Ri’s Dance Academy, being recognised for my support towards the arts and my local community in Manchester is a tremendous honour. This award acknowledges the innovation and courage I have shown while growing Ri Ri’s Dance Academy, and my efforts to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs and artists. It is truly a brilliant achievement!
A Journey of Recognition
This award is my fifth significant recognition, following my Bollywood Guinness World Record in 2011, the Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2013, the Proficiency Award for Dance & Leadership in 2014, and the Pride in Hyde award in 2019. Each of these accolades has been a stepping stone in my journey, and this latest award from The University of Salford is a testament to the hard work and dedication that has gone into my career and Ri Ri’s Dance Academy.
Celebrating with the Community
You can read more about me and the other Alumni Achievement Award winners by visiting the University of Salford’s website. Additionally, I have shared highlights from this incredible awards ceremony here. You can watch the video and many others to get a glimpse of this special night.

Words of Appreciation
I was deeply moved by the kind words from Gareth Petit, the Alumni Engagement Manager at The University of Salford:
“I am delighted that we have been able to recognise this wonderful and amazing woman’s achievements tonight. She is absolutely fantastic – She is a brilliant ambassador for the University, she has achieved so much, she is so hard working, an absolute delight and a pleasure. She has always got a lovely smile for everyone with a warm heart and she is an all-round wonderful human being and we are delighted to recognise her this evening.” – Gareth Petit, Alumni Engagement Manager

This award is a significant milestone in my journey, reflecting the collective efforts of everyone involved with Ri Ri’s Dance Academy. It motivates me to continue promoting the arts and enriching the cultural fabric of our community in Manchester. I am excited about the future and the opportunities to inspire and support others through dance and creativity.
Lots of love,
