Being a multi-hyphenate cultural entrepreneur has been an extraordinary journey for me, and every step has been fuelled by passion ❤️, resilience 💪, and creativity 🎨. I’m Dr Ria Meera Munshi, and I’ve dedicated my life to celebrating and preserving Indian culture through the arts, while embracing a multitude of roles that keep me constantly inspired.

As the founder and Artistic Director of Ri Ri’s Dance Academy 💃, I’ve built a platform that isn’t just about dance and theatre—it’s about creating a space where cultural exchange 🌏 and understanding 🤝 thrive. My work as a dancer, choreographer, cultural consultant, model, actor, presenter, writer, director, and businesswoman allows me to express myself in so many different ways. Each role feeds into the others, giving me the freedom to innovate ✨ and grow 🌱 while staying true to my roots.

Over the years, I’ve been honoured with incredible recognitions, including a Bollywood Guinness World Record 🏆 and an honorary Doctor of Arts degree 🎓 from the University of Salford. Achievements like these remind me that perseverance 🏅, even in the face of health challenges, can lead to extraordinary outcomes.

What truly drives me, though, is the impact I’ve been able to make beyond the stage and screen. From working with underrepresented groups 🌟 to sharing my insights at events like TEDx 🎤, I’m passionate about using my platform to inspire ✨ and empower 💪 others. Inclusivity 🌈 and education 📚 are at the heart of everything I do.

Through all of this, I’ve learned that being a cultural entrepreneur isn’t just about managing multiple careers—it’s about weaving them together into something meaningful 💖 and transformative 🔄. For me, it’s about honouring my heritage, pushing creative boundaries, and helping others find their own voices in the process.

This journey is far from over, and I’m excited to see where it will take me next. What I do know is that I’ll continue to explore 🌍, create 🎨, and uplift 🌟, because that’s what makes my work truly fulfilling.

Lots of love,
