💫This evening, I had the honour of being a keynote speaker and panellist at the International Women’s Day Celebration hosted by ResLife and The University of Manchester. This year’s theme, #AccelerateAction, was a powerful call to inspire swift and decisive steps towards gender equality. This was my second Keynote Speaker event for IWD2025! 🤩

During the event, I ran two interactive Bollywood dance workshops under Ri Ri’s Dance Academy, my Bollywood Guinness World Record Breaking Manchester-based company. The workshops were a fantastic way to engage participants and celebrate the vibrant culture of India. They were filled with energy and enthusiasm, and it was wonderful to see everyone getting involved and enjoying the dance routines. 💃🌼

🥻 My interactive talk was based on my lived experience, career journey, identity, and heritage, with injections of academic quotations, plus much more and was extremely well received. As a multi-hyphenate cultural entrepreneur in the arts and cultural sector, I was honoured to speak about my journey and the challenges I have faced along the way. Sharing my experiences and insights was incredibly rewarding, and I hope it inspired others to pursue their passions and break down barriers in their own lives. 📚

🌺 Sitting on the panel at the end of the event was a highlight for me. It was empowering to connect with extraordinary women from all backgrounds and to discuss important issues related to gender equality and empowerment. The panel discussions were thought-provoking and highlighted the need for continued action and advocacy to achieve true equality.🤝

🌟The event was a celebration of women’s achievements and a reminder of the work that still needs to be done. It was a privilege to be part of such a meaningful occasion and to contribute to the conversation on how we can accelerate action for gender equality.💪
